An engineer trained at Polytechnique Montréal, Stéphane Brunet has over 20 years of experience in industrial, institutional and commercial energy efficiency as well as in thermal optimization for processes and thermal power plants. His extensive professional experience has led Mr. Brunet to become a consultant in energy efficiency, product development, project management, energy recovery and technology transfer.
Stephane’s most notable achievements include designing and creating the world’s largest direct contact heat recovery system, 60 MW, in Montoir-de-Bretagne, by Gaz de France; designing a new 36 MW thermal power plant in the agri-food sector; and designing and managing LogiVAP’s “Boiler-in-the-Box” project, which consists of delivering turnkey boilers built and incorporated into manufactured buildings.
In addition to his close involvement in 50 projects to improve the energy efficiency of thermal power plants, boiler rooms and industrial processes, Mr. Brunet has led an impressive number of projects in the energy field.
A guest speaker at international conferences, he is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), Engineers Nova Scotia and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
His professional experience in energy efficiency combined with his solid engineering expertise are a continual source of added value for LogiVAP customers.
