New beverage bottling plant – SAPUTO

Saputo called on LogiVAP^®’s expert services in creating its new beverage bottling plant.

LogiVAP^® distinguished itself by implementing a project-specific 3D design platform. The thermal load scale projections were based on those of a previous job for the same client.

Systems put in place

• Steam and condensate production and distribution system for processes. Steam capacity: 1,000 BHP @ 115 psig – η92 %
• 1:2:1 compressed air production and distribution system for processes. Compressed air capacity: 1,800 SCFM Class 1-2-1

Special challenges

• Long-distance work with limited on-site intervention
• Design work implemented through the Autodesk BIM360 platform with 11 other specialties
• Utility loads determined in the absence of a detailed knowledge of the process (forthcoming in the course of year 3)
• Building construction using prefabricated concrete
